So it's mid-January woohoo!! Anyone with any sense (or money) isn't here, they are calling with their inital annoying rental queries from somewhere else where more than 5 people in a room aren't a crowd. They are somewhere warm like Flahridah. They want to come look but between trips to Puerto Rico and Boca it's tough to schedule.
They know what we should know by now; that the Hamptons are for summer-it's all about summer. One of my married couple friends (more on marraige & the Hamptons later) who were driving back from a movie one night last winter EH to Sg Hrbr -didn't pass a single car. With a blissful sigh he mused,"Isn't it great, we haven't passed a single car.." Tears welling up in her eyes, staring out at the blackness, she wimpered a timid,"no." It seems like more men than women are ok with the void of humanity here in winter. What's up with that???? Don't tell me it's football.... or is it?
